I have a Tuck set cover for 9914 ANIMAL STUDIES but the 6 cards that came with it are 278 B with German backs. No idea if the 6 cards were sold with the set cover or subsequently brought together.
The cuurent TuckDB skeleton entry for 9914 is entitled ANIMAL LIFE and has the comment ‘listed by Warr & in 1911/1912 Postcard Catalogue, we think this set was planned but never made’.
I’ve attached scans of the set cover and the entry from the Postcard Catalogue. The 6 cards are identical to those for set 278 B already recorded in TuckDB.
Unsure as to how this should be recorded in TuckDB.
@justintanner Justin, yes the links you’ve copied are for the sets I had looked at. The Oilette cards and set cover are in mint unused condition. Happy to scan 1 or more of the cards and send to you.
Set cover says ANIMAL STUDIES 9914 but Tuck Catologue entry for 9914 says ANIMAL LIFE.
